While enjoying my 31 cent ice cream

this evening at Baskins Robbins I began to have a small panic attack when I saw this stroller not empty but complete with 3 babies and 1 toddler. Oh my goodness!!! I just can not even imagine having triplets. Twins are manageable, I have 2 arms so I can always pin them both down when I have to but with triplets one child is always free. This sight made me a little nervous about the prospect of ever getting pregnant again. Even hours later, I am still a little nauseous (could also be from exhaustion but we will blame it on the triplet sighting). On good days, Tyler and I would like 1 more, just 1. The nervousness comes into play when I remember that the older a woman gets the chances of having multiples increases. Well I was under 30 when I produced 2 so what is going to happen when I am over 30? Ummm, I think I will wait a really long time before I even think about getting pregnant so the older kids can just take care of the triplets and then I won't have to do anything. However if I had triplets and the twins and Taylor I am sure I would qualify for free stuff like this stroller except I would need one with another seat and a new humongous van. And I really think I should have my own TV show: The Jorgenson Clan Gone Crazy.

Oh goodness here comes the nausea once again.

I love our family outings.

We never have a clear planned out itinerary but we always end up in fun places and create lasting memories. Today was one of those days. We headed out to UCLA for the Literary Festival (totally random I know). We were told they had a lot of stuff for kids (they did) and that is was free. Why not?! Well the highlights of that little adventure were the snow cone

and Ashlyn terrorizing me while riding on my shoulders.

Before everyone totally lost it we hurried to the car hungry, tired and very hot. We decided we needed the ocean. So we jumped on PCH and ended up at Duke's in Malibu.
Our kids made a HUGE mess and we received tons of sympathy laughs from our server. The kids were not even that bad so I don't know why she kept laughing at us but apparently we are quite a sight. We then found a little beach perfect for the kids and we spent the last couple hours of daylight having a blast.

Andy and Ashlyn totally overcame their fear and dislike of the water. They kept running into the waves even after getting knocked over. Tyler and I are not so sure this new found bravery is a very good thing.

Taylor totally in her element. When we left the beach she said, "I am so happy!"

I think it is safe to say that our kids love the beach as much as we do.

It is moments like these that make life sweet.

In about 7 minutes...

My favorite Residents will be back on TV. I can't wait! It has been way too long to not be part of the Mc Dreamy/Mc Steamy drama, Meredith's crazy commitment issues, and George and Izzie's weird relationship. Oh how lovely is the drama (when its not your own life).
Thursday night is back to being the best night of TV with The Office, Grey's, and LOST.
Thank goodness for the end of the writer's strike!

Farewell

Two years ago we bought a boat. The 1st summer we used it a lot.
And then these 2 arrived and made boating a little more difficult.
But we did still manage from time to time. However not near as much as we would have liked so we decided to sell our 1st toy. I think it was only listed for a day and we had a no haggle buyer that gave us more than we listed it for (leave it to my husband, the salesman).
It was sad to see it go. Taylor was actually crying. I think she has been a little spoiled in her short life. We did have some fun times. This is Sara and I on the tubes in Havasu. I was pregnant with the twins at the time (but didn't know it was twins, I wonder if I would have been more careful). Tyler did drive really slow when I was being pulled behind.
Luckily Trisha and Russ just bought a sweet boat and they will be here for the summer so we won't go through withdrawals too bad.

Had to Share.

I was going through the pictures Sara's friend took of the kids in their Easter outfits and I had to share some of my favorites. I wonder if they will be the boy version of Paige and Taylor.
They are farther apart in age but in a year or two it won't matter.

Looking for....

A good girl movie and/or comedy newly released to DVD and newly released could be anything over the last year (I don't get to the movies much). So leave lots of comments and tell me your favorites. Thanks!

Because Nothing Else Exciting is Happening...

One of my responsibilities that I really do not enjoy (that is putting it lightly) is LAUNDRY. It never gets ALL done because by the end of day you have the clothes and towels and whatever else that got dirty from the day so I never really feel like the chore gets accomplished. I am a list maker and I like to physically cross things off my list when they are completed and laundry just never gets crossed off. So I just don't like doing it, not to mention how much time it takes. I can usually get things into the washer and dryer but getting it folded and put away is a whole other story. I am much better with the kids stuff than our stuff (poor Tyler but don't feel too bad for him because almost all his stuff gets dry cleaned).
So Today was the Day. I decided to really get it ALL done. And I mean everything even the dumb stuff that has to be washed separately; Does washing separately mean putting all 10 shirts in together that have the same wash separately label? Hmmm, you probably don't want me doing your laundry.
So, here it what my pile looked like at 8:30 pm with 3 more loads to go.
And at 11:30 pm here it what I had accomplished. It helped that there were good shows on TV: Biggest Loser (I won't say who won in case some of you haven't seen it but I was happy with the outcome), American Idol (boring, sing some up beat songs for once), and Dancing with the Stars. Now the trick will be to get it all put away in the morning.

Another Fun Day!

My mom and her husband camped at San Clemente this weekend so we decided to beat the heat (I think summer is finally here, it was HOT today) and head to the beach. I have decided that being at the beach with kids that are 14 months old is not an easy task. We lasted an hour with only 2 mouthfuls of sand...not too bad. But that was just about as much as they could do before they decided that being wet and sandy was not the funnest thing and trying to keep them clean and dry so they could have a snack was nearly impossible. They all had fun though, Taylor especially. She LOVES playing in the sand and being outside. The twins were not sure what to think about it all (see pic below). They liked the sand until it got in their mouths. They liked the water until it touched their toes and froze them. Andy would go towards the water flapping his arms in excitement but as soon as it touched his feet, he wanted out. The water was freezing! We like Hawaii water much better. Our little beach babe.
Ashlyn enjoyed herself much more this time than last time.
He is totally not sure what to do.

It was such a beautiful day. It was warm and the sky was blue...such a great beach day.

After the beach we went to my mom's trailer and had dinner. Taylor loves grandma's trailer (and of course Grandma too).

It was such a fun afternoon.

I Love The Beach!

Andy loved the sand....

Taylor loved the sand....

Ashlyn, not so much.

Until the end when she finally just went for it.

Paid Admission

Sara and I were a bit bored on Friday afternoon so we decided to go to Disneyland. Luckily Tyler was in the OC area that afternoon showing a house so he was able to meet us there. We were very relieved when he showed up. Somehow though we managed to watch the new Playhouse Disney show and the new California Adventure parade by ourselves without loosing anyone (having ice cream did help). Quite an accomplishment I must say! For all you Disneyland fans that haven't seen the new parade at Cal. Adventure, it is a must see. We loved it!!!

Yeah for Daddy!

This isn't the best shot as I was holding Ashlyn and Andy while I took it but I think it really captures Andy's emotions during the parade. He LOVED it almost as much as he LOVED Playhouse Disney. I wish I could have videotaped him, he was dancing and clapping and very much entertained.

I decided Taylor could no longer pass for a 2 year old and I bought her 1st Disneyland pass. Welcome to the life of paid admission.

Boy were these girls excited!Ashlyn makes me laugh everyday with her little quirks and this is just one glimpse into her funny personality. Do these girls know they are destined to be life long friends?!

I ALMOST FORGOT....

Kate Moss is the blond going up the stairs. She walked right passed us but Tyler had the camera and he was walking around with the girls so this is the best shot we have. I always wondered how celebrities made it through Disneyland without being hounded by fans well now I know and I know what to look for. They have Disneyland security with them. A Disneyland worker pointed them out to us and explained to us how it works. I will be on the look out next time for Brad and Angelina and their 14 kids. =)

5 Years!

3 kids + 7 cars (only 2 at a time though) + 13 houses (mostly investments) + 1 career change + 3 company changes + 6 hospital stays + 1 out patient surgery + countless doctor's visits + 3 moves + 3 trips to Hawaii and many other hotel stays = 5 years of marital bliss!

When I think about everything we have experienced and how much we have changed, I can't believe we have only been married 5 years.
Tyler and I celebrated our anniversary last weekend. We stayed over night in one of our favorite hotels in Newport. This was the view from our balcony. Every time we go there they upgrade us to a fancy suite, that could be why we love it there so much.
We were told we must stop and get a cupcake at Sprinkles across from Fashion Island. And oh yes, they were delicious.
There were too many to choose from so we splurged and got a dozen. Don't worry I gave at least half of them away. My favorite...chocolate.

On Monday we drove around all day looking at houses and boats. We really love Newport and hope to live there someday or at least have a beach house (that's not asking too much). We eventually ended up in Long Beach at Shoreline Village and as we walked around we stumbled across this....The Next Big Purchase for TD Financial. I love that my husband dreams big. As soon as Tyler got home he had to research who owned this amazing yacht so for more information, check out Tyler's blog.

Even though we were only gone one night, it was really a perfect little get away. We relaxed and enjoyed each other's company in a peaceful setting. It has been a great 5 years and I am happier and love my husband more now than 5 years ago and I look forward to all the many years to come. Love you babe!

We Love the 80's!

Last Saturday we had my 30th birthday party...80's style
and everyone came dressed to impress. Sisters!
Love Tyler in the NEON!

Hot Girls!

I am not sure why we thought doing a pyramid was 80's but we did and so we made one. I still think we could have made it bigger. Joy (in the teal) was our best dressed of the night as she was wearing an authentic 80's prom dress she still owned.

Here are some of our costume winners left to right: funniest, best make up, and best flashback.

It was a fun night.

We ate, played arcade games, sang karaoke, and laughed at each other's outfits. Thanks everyone for making my 30th birthday one to remember.
