We love the warm weather

especially after being trapped inside for the last week because of rain and sick kids. So the sun shining bright today was welcomed by our family. The last 2 days have been so warm that Taylor requested we go to the pool. First of all it is only February and the pool is too cold. Secondly I am NOT taking 3 kids that can't swim to the pool by myself (we will see if I stay true to that when it is 100 degrees, bring out the life jackets) so I offered the hose and the trampoline instead and by looking at the pictures you can see that it was the perfect choice.

This was Andy's 1st experience with the hose and to say he enjoyed himself would be an understatement.

Brother Sister Bond.
Lately these 2 have been playing so much together and enjoying every second. Poor Ashlyn was asleep so she missed out on all the fun. But 2 kids is much easier to manage on a slippery trampoline than 3 so I guess it is okay.

Hey Drapers, How's the snow? =)

Shameless Self Promotion

I installed a stat counter on this blog a few days ago and found out that we have between 50-100 visitors a day. Being the capitalist that I am I figured it would be smart to monetize these visits and plug a couple of our businesses.

1. Wrightwood Cabins
We have some cabins up in Wrightwood, CA that we rent out for vacationers. This has been an amazing year of snow and Mountain High Ski Resort is less than 10 minutes away. Check out these great cabins and get away for a while.

2. Jorgenson Properties
Jorgenson Properties is a full service real estate company based in Chino, CA
We also offer real estate finance.

Tanya also does vinyl stickers that make great crafts and home decor. Leave a comment for her if you're looking for a sticker or two. She can email you samples.

Check out our friends website for chocolate fountain rentals.

Also, check out the Non Profit we are currently starting

Oh what fun...

2 ear infections, bronchitis, fevers, runny noses, coughing, 3 prescriptions, no sleep, lots of tears = 3 very sick kids.

Funny Funny Baby that was supposed to be sleeping.

The funny part of this video is towards the end. I don't know where he learned to do it but I think it is hilarious. I love his face afterwards.

I have some catching up to do.

Last week was busy as ever. It began with me becoming the next victim of the awful cold and flu. Despite the aches and fever, we took the kids to Disneyland on Monday with Tyler's parents. I figured I at least had help with the kids if I was at Disneyland.
Disneyland was crowded so we spent most of the day at California Adventure.
He LOVES his Grandpa.
I don't think Andy spent a minute in the stroller once Grandpa J arrived.

We then headed over to Taylor's new favorite place at Disneyland...Toon Town.

Taylor desperately wants to get into this door in Minnie's house that is for employess only so she tried all our keys to see who had the winner. No such luck with that one.

On Wednesday we had a little Valentine Party for the kids.
They made mailboxes and gave each other Valentines. On Friday Sara arranged for us to take the kids to a retirement home to spread some Valentine joy. I think it was a good experience for them.

On Saturday we headed to Las Vegas to spend the weekend with my family and do some wedding planning for my sister's upcoming May wedding. We went to Donna Springs in Old Nevada, a little Western town. I am not really into the whole Western thing even though I like Country Music and this place was a little weird with fake hangings happening every half hour and home to an animal prison (seriously the petting zoo...so bad), but I guess the kids had fun and that is who we went for.

Yea for my cousin Kelsea!!! I don't think I held Ashlyn all day because she just took care of her. We will definately have her out this summer.

Andy totally freaked out by the fake gun shots.

We made it home from Vegas late Sunday night with 2 sick teething babies (about 7 teeth total between the 2 of them) and began another exciting week in the Jorgenson Home.

Life as we know it...

Won't ever be the same as we now have 2 walking 1 year olds.

Bring out the leashes!

This video was taken last week, he has since mastered the art.

Our Little Gymnast

Taylor started gymnastics yesterday and she had a blast. It is basically just a lot of running around and jumping on things and much less structured than her dance class. At the end she got to jump in the foam pit...so fun! It was at the end of the day and Ashlyn was having a meltdown so I didn't get any pictures of Taylor other than a few with a glass window between us so the video will have to do.

Family Fun

On Monday night we went to Disneyland for some Family Fun. With the move and all the illnesses that have circulated through our home over the last 2 months, a night of fun was way overdue. We had such a fun time. We were only in the park for 2 hours, just enough time to do all that we wanted. After Disneyland closed we went to Downtown Disney for dinner. It was the first time in a very long time that we had taken all 3 kids to a restuarant so I was a little nervous but everyone did so good. Now that the babies eat normal food I think they were just as excited to eat as we were.

Daddy and Taylor having a tea party.

The babies 1st time on the Teacups. Ashlyn was not so sure.
Taylor is now tall enough to ride the roller coaster in ToonTown.

She seemed very grown up all of the sudden.

Because no one was there she got to ride the coaster 5 times in a row. She loved every second of it. I just love Andy's face in this picture. You just have to wonder what they are thinking at this crazy place.

The newest chew toy.

At the restaurant there was a guy creating things with balloons. He was actually really good and he asked us if we wanted him to make a caterpillar for the babies. Well I knew they would put it in their mouths the second we gave it to them so I wasn't so inclined as to let them have one. But he assured me the things would not pop...And he was right!!! It is one balloon wrapped inside itself about 3 times. I don't even think a knife could be used to pop it. Needless to say our 2 teething babies were in heaven.

Easier than Disneyland.

On Thursday Sara and I took the kids to Scandia, the Family Fun Center. It was so nice. The girls could go on all the rides themselves. There was no one there so when they wanted to ride the airplanes 15 times in a row, they could...poor attendant guy. Even Sara and I got to go on some of the rides for free! Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Disneyland but it was really nice to not spend an hour parking, riding the tram or walking a mile into the park because I can't get all 3 kids and a stroller on the tram by myself, getting checked my lame security (what are they looking for anyways because a pat on the bottom of a bag is not going to locate a weapon) and getting through the entrance gate hoping they don't ask Taylor if she is 3 yet (I'm so bad). And there were no lines and no crowds and the girls didn't ask for Cinderella once.

People always ask...

How do you manage twins?

Well this is how

I was wondering what we should do with the countless boxes we have after moving.

When I decided to give this a try.

The best part...they are totally trapped except Taylor of course she could totally get out but was having too much fun squishing the babies.

They all loved it and didn't even realize it was my own secret ploy to get them to leave me alone for a few minutes while I made dinner.

So there you have it, that is how I manage, I lock them up.
