I feel like we are one of the last families to still have a real tree. I just can't go fake.
I love taking the kids to the Christmas tree lot.

And letting them run all over yelling which one they like best.
I love watching their excitement.(with dinner all over his shirt...nice job mom)
And most important, finding that perfect tree.
One day I will have a beautifully decorated tree like the ones in Tai Pan. Right now we have the kids tree that they decorated and redecorated everyday in December with mostly non breakable ornaments.
Each of our kids has their special 1st Christmas ornament. They love them!
Christmas was even sweeter this year because we were able to add this to the tree.

I love real trees! My mom always got them growing up. The expense kept us from buying them at first, and then last year we learned the hard way that Hudson has major Christmas tree allergies! He looked like a red balloon w/ hives all over! Now my mom has even switched to fake so we can come over :) Continue to enjoy the tradition of picking out that tree and smelling the goodness :) I loved it as a kid!
