Growing Babies and a Whole Lotta Pumpkins!

I have attempted to get this blog posted all week but keep getting error messages. Even though it is out of order with the Halloween post, the pictures were too cute to pass up. After I posted this, I realized the post is in order so I don't know who will see this.

The babies had their 9 month doctor's appointment on Monday and they are doing wonderfully. Andy now weighs 21.10 and is 28 1/4 inches long. His new favorite toy is our Gymboree tunnel. He LOVES it and he will go back and forth through it as many times as I will let him.

Ashlyn continues to be our tiny little girl weighing in at 16.13 and 25 1/4 inches long. No wonder people always ask me if they are really twins. Andy is so much bigger. Ashlyn is our explorer/climber girl and she gets into absolutely everything. Taylor was not like this so not all our cupboards are child proofed but apparently we need it. She was literally trying to climb the wall in the bottom picture. Every time I tried to get a picture, she would turn around and smile.

Carving of Pumpkin #1 of 5

I have a bit of an obsession for holidays, traditions, and creating fun, memorable experiences for my kids so each of us HAD to have our own pumpkin...that makes 5 we have to carve. So last night for Family Home Evening we carved one of them. Apparently, that was not a good enough FHE for Taylor because when we were all finished and I told her it was time for bed, she said "No, we need prayer, song, and scripture." You can't argue with that even though it was after bed time.
