Some of you read my blog entry entitled "Just a few thoughts." I decided to take that post off and so some of this post is a repeat.
Newport was great! I love being able to sleep whenever I want and not have to wake up before the sun comes up. Tyler and I enjoyed being together without kids, sitting in the spa every night, chatting with a couple that were on our flight to Hawaii in June (small world), and taking in the views at Crescent Bay and Laguna. We love the beach and would love to live there someday. Unfortunately, we left our camera in our room every time we went out so no pictures. I was really bummed every time we would be out at the beach and realize we didn't have the camera. Oh well, the beauty is ingrained in my mind. On Monday the smoke was really bad from all the fires so we headed home by 12:00 to find our home ravished by the winds...trees broken, outside table turned over (thank goodness it landed on one of Taylor's toys otherwise the glass top would have shattered). These were all insignificant when compared to the loss suffered by so many of the fire victims. Tyler grew up in Rancho Bernardo San Diego and a few of his friends lost their homes this week. Luckily everyone was safe. Due to the horrible air quality and raining ash, I kept the kids inside all week except to drive to a couple places. Luckily, we had some friends over and my Grandma stopped by to break up the monotony.
Yesterday I could actually see some blue sky shining through so hopefully this week will be better.
We went to Wrightwood yesterday to visit with Tyler's parents. It is actually fall up there with cooler temperatures, fall colors and blue skies. I hope we get some snow up there this year.
We are really excited for Halloween this week and still can't believe that the holidays are upon us. I am excited to dress up my little munchkins as a Princess, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell. I tried to get Taylor to be Wendy but it just wasn't glamorous enough for her so she will be a pretty princess. Happy Halloween!!!

Wrightwood sure was pretty yesterday. Thanks for being such an awesome Mom, and for not getting mad at me when Taylor went flipping and flying off of the swing. :)
Taylor went flipping and flying! What? Tyler be careful with my niece. ;) Happy Halloween! See you in a couple days!
Tayna your hubby might need an extra hug...we are constantly bugging him about loan stuff. So he might need one extra hug.
And I read your story about carrying twins full term and wondering if you are allowed frustration. UM YES! My sister has twins that she didnt carry full term and she gets frustrated all the time. She has three kids in less than 3 years also and its insane! Totally allow any emotion you want!!! YOu deserve it.
