I DON'T UNDERSTAND.............

why THIS happens every. SINGLE. DAY!!!!!!!!
Andy has successfully destroyed another crib tent. I would love to buy another one but we are getting ready for the transition to a big boy bed. After all the kid is almost 3, its probably about time. Although I would really like to keep Andy and Ashlyn in a crib with the tent securely zippered until they are 10, but that may be grounds for CPS to make a visit to our home so....let the transition begin. Back to the mess.........for some reason, a reason that makes my head hurt to try and figure out, he climbs out of his bed in the morning and during nap time and takes every piece of clothing out of the drawers and laundry basket and throws them on the floor. Seriously???????? Why?????? Come get me! Go play in the playroom! Go downstairs! Why the clothes? Why EVERYday? Why after punishments have been handed out EACH time? WHY????
As if coming in a pair didn't add enough stress to my life, they enjoy doing things like this too!
If he didn't look so dang cute in this picture, this may have been a for sale ad.

Off to the Pumpkin Patch!

I LOVE going to the Pumpkin Patch. As the month of October rolls around, I get very excited to visit the place where all the pumpkins are. This year we had our very own pumpkin patch in our front yard thanks to not cleaning up last years pumpkin seeds as well as we should have. I did not however love having my own pumpkin patch as the crazy pumpkin vines took over our front porch on both sides. For those of you without a green thumb, pumpkins you can do! They take no care whatsoever and will literally attack your home. Said pumpkin patch is now gone and we have 4 remaining pumpkins from that but WE had to have just 1 more huge cool one. So off to Irvine Park we went.
The kids just HAD to stand in every single one of these things and have their pictures taken.

Sorry for the overkill of those but some of them are funny!
Can't get enough of this little man!!! He melts my heart everyday. On this day though, he successfully led me out of the hay maze. Good job Buddy!

The most boring and slow train ride EVER! I almost went crazy.
Perfect family picture except ................ANDY!!!!
Looking forward to a great Halloween and holiday season.

Apple Day!

Friday was Apple Day in Taylor's class. I was lucky enough to be able to help out. There were lots of Apple related crafts and activities.

Kind of a creepy face Taylor has going on in the picture but you can tell she was enjoying herself.
The day would not have been complete without Apple pie and Apple Cider.

The Stars Align.....

I was at Target today in search, among other things, Take 5 candy bars. Thanks to my friend Sara, I am hooked! If you have not tried them, you are seriously missing out but beware you will not be able to stop at 1. As I was searching through the millions of bags of candy, I passed Rolos.... Love Rolos and then Milk Duds...another personal Fav. My mind started getting clouded.....which candy do I really want????? Oh but wait!!!! What do I see at the end of the aisle....a bag way too big for my personal home stash and a little pricey but has Take 5, Rolos, and Milk Duds. Could it be the bad luck our family has faced recently has finally turned a corner??? Could it be that there is a genius at the candy company??? He/She should win the Nobel Prize (after all they are just handing them out, why not give them to a person who just made a pregnant lady's day).

Dear Paci:

You have kept our boy comforted and safe while he soundly slept both day and night. You would have been in his mouth ALL DAY LONG had I not been so mean. You have been a faithful companion for the last 2 1/2 years and you were nicknamed "My Bed." He has had more than one at a time and has clung to one while sucking on the other. He has looked forward to going to bed so he could see your sparkling green. Before giving you up each morning he had to give you 1 last suck. However, little boys with teeth are dangerous to you and puncture your beauty. Alas, the last Paci took its beating and we just haven't been able to make it to the store to replace you. So farewell dear Paci, it has been a week and I am sorry to say Andy does not miss you. But you did your job, a job well done. I'm sure we will see you again in April when a new little person enters our world. Until then, farewell dear friend!
Getting rid of the Pacifier was seriously THAT easy! Does that mean my boy is all grown up???

13 weeks!

Yesterday at the gym, I noticed something. Can you guess what it is???? That's right, at 13 weeks I have a tummy (Yes, I am sticking it out a little but seriously should I really be showing that much????)! I decided baby #4 deserves some attention so here is to wearing fat clothes and desperately trying to stay out of maternity clothes as long as possible (how come those clothes immediately make you look frumpy and fat? Maybe because I don't spend big bucks on them so I am up for donations. I'll except only the best though, anything from Nordstrom's Maternity Shop will do). Here's to hoping April comes really fast (I am not the best pregnant person especially with 3 little ones running around causing chaos who have quickly figured out that mom has less energy than normal). Here's to #4 who I promise will have a name at some point and not be just referred to as #4 although numbers are easier than coming up with names, we are open to suggestions.
Here's to #4, I seriously can't wait to meet you!!!

Just 1.

On Friday it was confirmed that our family will be acquiring 1 new little munchkin in April. I have a few thoughts:

#1: There is so much room in there when there is only 1!
#2: Is the little thing lonely without a companion? Silly thought, YES, however Tyler and I both thought the same thing.
#3: This pregnancy, birth, and addition should seem like a walk in the park.

I am excited to have 1 baby! When Taylor was born, I was a new mom and had no clue what I was doing. Then the twins were born and we were immediately in survival mode. This time around, I got it down. I am excited to enjoy just 1, to take care of just 1, and spoil this 1 with the help of our other little people.

So far, the kids vote is 2-1 in favor of a girl. It would be nice to be able to tie that up however lots of pink would be wonderful too. Here's to the next 29 weeks or in my case less than 29 . I have never been 40 weeks pregnant and don't really desire to experience it now.
