Dear Paci:

You have kept our boy comforted and safe while he soundly slept both day and night. You would have been in his mouth ALL DAY LONG had I not been so mean. You have been a faithful companion for the last 2 1/2 years and you were nicknamed "My Bed." He has had more than one at a time and has clung to one while sucking on the other. He has looked forward to going to bed so he could see your sparkling green. Before giving you up each morning he had to give you 1 last suck. However, little boys with teeth are dangerous to you and puncture your beauty. Alas, the last Paci took its beating and we just haven't been able to make it to the store to replace you. So farewell dear Paci, it has been a week and I am sorry to say Andy does not miss you. But you did your job, a job well done. I'm sure we will see you again in April when a new little person enters our world. Until then, farewell dear friend!
Getting rid of the Pacifier was seriously THAT easy! Does that mean my boy is all grown up???

So cute!!! I will miss that 'suck suck' sound when we put him down, rather cute and comforting!

Um, Sophie is 3 and she had it in her mouth all day at disneyland today. You are far braver than I. Kudos!!!!

I always thought it was funny when he got his last fix before putting in his bed...too cute! Wow, I can't believe they are not babies anymore.

Ahh...another milestone. Guess they are growing up! I always thought it was so cute when he would throw it in his bed in the morning after he got up.

If only potty training will go that smoothly. :)
