Yesterday was my birthday and it was a fun filled day....we began the morning with a trip to the park...
WooHoo, just where I always wanted to go! Holly did make Cinnamon rolls (YUM) so it was a good start to the day. Then Taylor played with Paige literally ALL day. They were outside at one point and kept saying Happy Birthday and so I finally asked them if they were saying it to me and they replied "No, it is our birthday." Not fair, I wanted some hose water in a Princess teacup...bummer. I then took Taylor to gymnastics which is by far the easiest hour of my entire week, keeping the twins contained in the viewing room surrounded by dancer girls and their moms is so fun. But I really do enjoy watching Taylor in gymnastics attempting hand stands and cartwheels. It is so funny and she looks adorable in her leotard. My evening plans consisted of going with Sara to a
Modbe party to try on and buy the perfect bathing suit. Simple idea right?! NO! There were so many styles and patterns, I think I tried on every bathing suit top there and modeled them for everyone. I think I should be given some commission for that. I finally decided on one about 2 hours later...holy cow! We were planning to go to Target, my sanctuary, but of course it was closed by the time we finished prancing around in bathing suits. So instead we went to
Walmart which is really not the same thing to me. I hope I do not offend any
Walmart shoppers but I don't like the place. However, I don't think I have laughed so much in a really long time. We laughed from everything to how half the lights in the store were turned off to fake baby chicks that chirp and don't stop chirping to plastic bunnies that poop candies. I didn't even know what I was putting in my cart and I had to constantly take stuff out. I left piles of Easter stuff in non Easter sections everywhere. So f you need last minute Easter stuff, check out the card section on top of some books in the middle of the aisle. At 11:40 PM we decided we should probably head home, dance class was in like 10 hours. The car ride resulted in even more laughing about how disgusting cows are (or funny if you are Sara) and how we are surrounded by them. Why do we live in dairy land? I will never know the answer to that question but I am so glad that some of them are sold so I don't have to look at another cow sitting in its poop on a rainy day. See what I am talking...disgusting not funny.
So I hope you catch on to my sarcasm. It really was a good day. I got to be with my kids who I adore, saw my husband briefly, got 2 things of flowers, 2 gift cert, and great conversation with friends. But if at all possible I would like to stay 30 and not get any older. Thanks!
