A Small Miracle.

The last couple nights Taylor has been going to bed later than normal because my sister was in town and we had a Primary Activity last night. When she is tired the whole world knows it, she cries and whines constantly and if she is overtired, she has night terrors which just adds to her being tired the next day. It is a horrible cycle. I attempted to give her a nap yesterday but it didn't work so when the whining and crying started the moment she woke up this morning, I knew she HAD to have a nap today especially because we have a busy weekend ahead. So I gave it try. I went through her entire nighttime routine, I even gave her some Benadryl (I know...so bad but I was desperate). It wasn't looking good as she was sitting up singing so I said a silent prayer that Heavenly Father would help her go to sleep. Within 5 minutes, she was out. That is amazing! I am so grateful. This day has not gone well so far because of 3 tired children (seriously hours of crying). I wasn't sure I was going to be able to keep it together for very much longer and then I was blessed with a small simple miracle that will totally change our day. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father answers prayers for some of the most simple things.
Happy Easter!

I sent up the same prayer for Sara today, and she went down a bit earlier (and easier) than normal. Hallelujah!

Oh my gosh Tanya, Braxton has the exact same thing. He'll wake up screaming in the middle of the night and there is nothing we can do to comfort him or get him to stop. Its always bad when he's over tired especially. Its very frustrating and tiring. I feel for you. We still havent figured out a solution. Let me know if anything works.

I love this story! It helps me remember that Heavenly Father knows our little ones and will help us when we turn to him. Thanks for sharing!
