Our San Diego trip should be called...the attack of the fever and a non refundable hotel trip. It started with Taylor and then got Andy. We figured the fresh San Diego air would do them some good so we gave them legal amounts of Tylenol, packed them in the car, and headed out. They were "well enough" to go to Sea World the next day meaning their eyes were open and they were coherent enough to beg to go. Sea World was a success and the fever remained dormant for the day but attacked Ashlyn that night. She missed the Sea Lions at La Jolla but I don't think she really cared.
The Cirque de la Mer show is a must see. Pretty amazing!
We are really good at following the rules in our family. I swear we didn't see that sign when we told Andy to climb on the Sea Star.
Maybe Chase's blanket was covering it.
And I swear we didn't hear the Sea World lady announce 15 times to NOT take the Sea Stars (aren't they called star fish?) out of the water. We are a family of good listeners!
Taylor and Grandpa P were the big winners of the day! Somehow we always manage to win these massive stuffed animals. If you're interested we will be getting rid of them in a few months.
I think Tyler won this one which is the only proof he was at the amusement park. Apparently he was behind the camera the whole day.
Ashlyn won her little penguin all by herself and she was so happy.
La Jolla...and look there's Tyler!
