1st appointment

Today was my 1st doctor's appointment. We definitely were not going to wait until 20 weeks again to confirm 1 or 2 babies so they did a heartbeat check. We are pretty confident we already know the answer to whether or not we will be adding 2 little ones to our family again, however the results need to be confirmed with a ultrasound next week. I have a lot of mixed emotions for some reason. We have experienced a lot over the last 3 years. There have been many MANY times where mental and physical exhaustion have ruled our home. I remember telling people that my life is a constant cardio workout, I can eat whatever I want and still be a size 2 because I swear I am sweating ALL DAY LONG! However, having twins is such a unique experience. Watching Andy and Ashlyn interact is the highlight of my day. Being trusted with 2 little souls at the same time has been such a humbling, overwhelming, and awesome experience and I am so grateful for it.

And now it is time to focus on the future. Our due date was confirmed for April 23rd and I can't think of a better time to add to our family.

Okay, I'm wonder now too!! Is it 1 or 2?? I have a friend that just had her second set of twins. They now have 5 children under the age of 4. It can be done... :-)

Hmmm, if they are going to do another ultrasound, they must suspect twins again. Or triplets. I hope you have a great full-time nanny and maybe another one waiting in the wings. Blessings on you all and I hope you get a lot of rest. Although I did learn long ago that mothers do not die from lack of sleep. It has something to do with the fact that you don't pass out during labor either. Anyway, take care of yourself! Love and kisses xxooxx
