Today was Taylor's 1st day of Kindergarten. I have struggled with the decision of whether to start her for the last year. She has a late birthday and will be the youngest in her class. I changed my mind so many times. I am sure our friends and family were SO over my indecisiveness. I was so worried I would make the wrong choice. However, a month ago we decided Yes and we haven't looked back (okay maybe I have a few times). But we are confident in our decision.
She is ready!

I Love this girl so much! I am so proud of her and excited for this new adventure.
It was a successful Kindergarten drop off. She was excited, she was ready, and I only shed a few tears as we were leaving. Andy repeatedly asking me, "Where's Tay Tay?" didn't help.

She's going to L-O-V-E it! I think there are a few kids from Ryan's pre-K class on Taylor's track...they are super nice kids too.

Must have been an emotional day for you! So sad how quickly time flies.
Yeah, I used to wonder why people weren't all excited about getting a break from their kids, but now I'm so sure I'll be terrified and cry my eyes out. But how could she not be excited? Her teacher looks like a barbie doll in an evening gown. (Ok, was that not a little weird for a kindergarten teacher? She looks like she's going out for a hot night. I had to laugh!)

I forgot to tell you...The PTA had the teacher and each child take a picture together! Then they put a little border around it with the school logo. They'll have it printed and sell it to you at Back to School night. It's like $5 and they turned out SO cute!
