Taylor was so excited that we were giving Trisha a baby shower. She made sure she was dressed pretty, had her hair done, high heels on, and lip gloss applied perfectly. Just as I was finishing the last preparations, Taylor said to me, "Mom can I put the shampoo in Trisha's hair at the shower?" I held back my burst of laughter as I quickly explained to her that we weren't having a "Real" shower.
After months of planning and I do mean months because my mother is the exact opposite of a procrastinator (no worries though, I did remain true to myself and saved a few things to the last minute) the shower came together perfectly and just how we hoped it would.

My cupcake obsession recently transferred to sugar cookies ever since I discovered the best cookie and frosting recipes (thick cookies + butter cream frosting = I eat too many). I have decided they need to be present at every party or made for every holiday. I have so much fun finding fun cookie cutters and attempting to decorate them cute.
A Jorgenson party is not complete without a creation from Rob and once again he delivered.
We are so excited for Baby Jacobson to be part of our family. He is already loved so much and we can't wait to meet him! 10 more weeks and counting!

Wow!!! That shower does look beautiful, and how sweet is Taylor!? And, I will now have to judge your sugar cookies this means.

Please share your cookie recipe... is it on your recipe blog?
Beautiful, classy shower. SO sad that I had a conflict and couldn't be there, looks like I missed the event of the month!
Everything at that shower looks wonderful. And your cookies are so cute. YUM>
Love the cookies- they turned out really cute. Is that scrapbook paper under the plates? Great idea!
