In the Christmas Spirit.
I am compiling my Christmas play list on my IPOD (great use of my time) and I am now ready for Christmas despite the 75 degree temperature outside. I wish it would freakishly snow at our house. So help me fill up my play list. What is your favorite Christmas song and by who? I expect lots of comments. =)

Are you looking for fun, upbeat songs or just any christmas songs? If it's upbeat, I'll have to think about it and get back to you:)
Winter Wonderland by Liz Phair - it was on some Sounds of the Season cd I got once. And I love Mannheim Steamrollers - but I grew up with it, so I'm not sure everyone loves it, but Christmas isn't complete without it for me.
breath of heaven sung by jessica simpson, nick loves that shoes song(about the boy who buys his mom shoes)i don't care for it. always love the hallelujah chorus, harry connick jr has a good album,
Christmas all over again by Tom Petty it's a great Rock n' Roll song to get you in the mood.
It's snowing here and two of the radio stations are already playing Christmas music! It's crazy, but I totally embrace it. I love Harry Connick, Jr. - I have two of his Christmas CD's and I love them both (I love Christmas Waltz, Winter Wonderland, Ave Maria, & Let It Snow). I also love Bing Crosby & Nat King Cole - I like the more classic stuff. And I can listen to "O Holy Night" - any version - over and over again - that song gives me chills!
I love the Barenaked Ladies version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" as well as their song "Elfs Lament"
I can't wait for Christmas! I start playing christmas music and decorating the day after thansgiving! It's coming up fast! :)
I love the Carpenters "Christmas Portrait". My mom & sisters love it and it starts off our season right. I started playing it on November 1st. I guess I am so excited to have Christmas with a baby.
