Back to Just About Everything

Taylor started preschool last month (she corrects me everyday that it is school not preschool). Our 1st "school" attempt in May resulted in a less than favorable outcome so we terminated that experience and took a break from 3 year old torture. This time around I put more time into our preschool choice and did a little research, talked to a few people, and chose a preschool taught by a lady in our ward and can I just say BEST Decision EVER! She is doing so well, does not cry before she has to go, and is learning SO much. She already knows syllables, days of the week, months of the year, writing her name, and sounding out letters. It is really NEAT and I am so grateful she is having such a positive experience

We are slowly adding her activities back into our schedule. She returned to gymnastics and of course loves it and can't wait to go back to dance next month.

And then there is Tyler. He started teaching Seminary again for the 3RD time!!! I'm not sure what it takes to get out of this calling but we have pretty much attempted everything. The 1st time, we didn't just get pregnant, we got pregnant with TWINS. Despite the sudden increase in the number of children in our household they called him to teach again. We decided we needed something a little more drastic and decided to MOVE. And now here we are, once again, with this calling. Either he is really good with the youth or no one else would accept the call (I think it is the 1st option). However, I do think there should be an official church rule that forbids Stake Presidents from talking to each other about new recruits. On the bright side, I have been told to expect blessings and I think about those every morning when the alarm goes off at 5:15 AM and my kids are asking for Daddy in the morning.

That is our life right now, not near as crazy as some, but we are holding our own. We are super excited for the next few months and all the festivities that take place this time of year. I can't believe the year is almost over. Where does the time go?!

Sorry about the failed prior school attempt. I feel a bit guilty about that. I'm glad her new preschool is a good fit.

What a good man to accept that calling for the 3rd time- definately impressive. I bet all the experience will prepare him well for your 3 as teenagers- it'll be here before we know it!

Ok, waking up that stinking early for 3 years would probably be enough to make me go inactive. I will count my blessings and pray that that calling never falls upon our household.

Yay for Taylor, how fun that she is loving it! And I'm sorry about the Seminary calling...I don't want to say too much otherwise I may too end up receiving that blessing....

Holy Cow! I didn't know Tyler was teaching seminary. That would be so hard. Glad you found a good preschool, Hudesn loves hers too.
