Andy and Ashlyn's 3rd Birthday Party.

The Plan: Rent a slide bounce house....call it a day!
The problem: El Nino hit with 5 days of the craziest rain resulting in a flooded back yard.
Dilemma: 20 kids 5 years and younger coming to my house....how will we ever entertain them all????? I was seriously panicked!!!
The Idea: Friday morning I had the grandest idea: All we needed was some snow.
Result: My husband loving my idea and making it happen. 7:00AM Saturday morning a truck load of snow was delivered to our home. Coolest thing EVER and it was a perfectly beautiful day!
The kids got to sled.Throw snowballs. And enjoy the hot chocolate bar.
Even the dads and Grandpas had fun!It was a CARS and Cinderella theme.I love the way Andy and Ashlyn are looking at each other before we sang Happy Birthday.I felt so bad for Ashlyn while blowing out her candles. They were too far away from her and apparently her little lungs aren't that strong so after a few attempts she still couldn't blow them out so she left crying. She made up for it that night when we went out to dinner though. She had no problem blowing those candles out!One of these days I swear I will figure out how to manage present opening times 2.
So far, every year it has been chaos!

Andy was super excited to get his "Big Buzz"and Woody from Grandma and Grandpa P.And anything Princess makes this little girl happy.Happy Birthday Andy and Ashlyn! We hope you had a fun day!
Thanks to all our family and friends who came to celebrate with us.
We feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many great people!

Sneak Peek: Snow Party! More to come....

These 2 little ones entered our lives and into our hearts.
It has definitely been an adventure but they truly are a blessing and a joy in our home.
Andy is such a love with brown eyes that melt my heart. He gives the best kisses on the cheek and I would love on him ALL day if he would let me. Tyler asked him what he wants to be when he grows up. He simply answered, "Bigger."Ashlyn makes me laugh every. single. day. She says and does the funniest things and her voice and pronunciation of words just adds to the joy. And when she asks you, "Are you so happy?" how can you not answer yes. They are big kids now but are still referred to as "The Babies." We have 3 months to adjust our thinking. But for right now, they are still my babies.Happy Birthday Andy and Ashlyn! We love you.
Thanks for making each day so fun and putting smiles on our faces!

So Big!

Last week we went to Disneyland. While Tyler and Taylor went on Star Tours, Andy demanded that he too wanted to go on Star Tours. Being the smart mom that I am I told him he wasn't big enough yet. Oops! He wasn't happy with that and said, "I am bigger. I am not Yittle (A and A pronounce theirs L's as Y's...cutest thing ever!)" I told him to go stand by the measuring stick to see if in fact he wasn't Yittle. Well, sure enough he was just barely tall enough at 40 inches. Totally surprised me and made him one happy boy. (FYI camera still broken, relying solely on IPhone pictures.)Expected mothers are not advised to ride Star Tours so I hung out with Ash but I am sad I missed his reaction to the ride. Tyler said he screamed and just kept looking around wondering what on earth was going on. When it was over he declared, "That was fun!"

Next was his first time on the Toon Town Roller Coaster. Apparently we have deprived him of this fun for awhile because you only have to be 35 inches tall. He had his hands up the entire time and loved every second of being such a big boy!

Baby ticker!

Just looked at my baby ticker on my blog,
we are in the double digits now until we become a family of 6. Wow!

Holiday Showcase.

Before Christmas, the dance studio had a mini Christmas recital. Taylor performed a ballet number and her jazz dance that she will compete in this season.
It is always so fun to watch Taylor dance and each time see a little more confidence and spunk.
We brought a little friend with us.
The 3 dancing girls. Can't wait to see them on stage in a month at their 1st competition.
