Disneyland

One of the best parts about going to Disneyland alone with the kids occurs
the last 5 minutes of the day.
Here's the scenario:
I am pushing a stroller filled with 3 kids rather than the 2 it is made for.
My body is definitely in cardio mode at this point (my kids have been told by a passerby that they have the fastest mom at Dland and then he proceeded to try and race me...weird!).
From a distance I can see a white beauty glistening from the lights of the parking structure.
I start walking double time, I have almost made it.
The most wonderful sound then occurs when I push the button on my key chain and the side doors magically POP open...music to my ears.
6 clicks later I have all 3 kids buckled into their car seats, they are now strapped and stuck. YES!!!
My last strenuous job of the day is to lift the stroller and literally throw it in the back.
It is now smooth sailing from here on out.
As I climb into my seat and start the car, a wave of accomplishment rushes over me...
I did it!
I survived another Disneyland trip on my own and all kids are accounted for.
Now I get to enjoy a peaceful ride home because the kids are asleep in 3.2 seconds.
Perfect Ending!

Snow or Sand? (I love Living in CA)

On Valentine's Day we asked Taylor if she wanted to go play in the snow or go the beach. She chose the snow which ended up being the perfect choice.

We headed up to Tyler's parents house, got bundled up, and had a great time.

We made snow angles,

did some sledding,

Sucked on icicles,

Made a snowman,

Attempted a family picture,
And topped it off with Hot Chocolate,

And a craft.

We made it back in time to feed the kids their Valentine dinner of pink heart shaped pancakes, pink eggs, heart shaped ham, and pink milk. They followed a trail of hearts to discover a special Vday surprise. We ended the night with Tyler making me a fancy meal of steak and lobster (yes, for those of you who know me well, I did try the lobster). It was such a fun Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am amazed at how many treats we accumulated this week and I only have 3 kids and only 1 in "school." I hosted 1 of the 6 parties we had this week (no joke...6...one for every extracurricular activity). We had 16 of our closest little friends over. Despite my nervousness of having that many little ones in my house with the responsibility to entertain, it went really well. We decorated Valentine bags, played a game, had a snack and cupcakes, and then headed upstairs to attack the playroom.
My sweet little Valentine!
The "big" kid table.
A mouthful of cupcake...doesn't get much better than that!

Following in Big Sister's footsteps.

A couple weeks ago Ashlyn adamantly declared that she wanted to take dance class. In Ashlyn world that means she hit the dance floor with her hands and said "Dance!" So I asked, "Ashlyn do you want to do dance class?" "YES!!!" Okay! So she started this week. She was so excited as was Taylor. The night before Taylor taught Ash her entire dance routine and the stretches so she would surely be prepared.

I'm so sad this picture is blurry.

She did so well, I couldn't believe it. She followed along and loved every second.

Here's a brief video that my sister requested to see. My camera died right at the beginning so this is all I have. So bummed! She was the only one there that day so Andy was allowed to "try" it. Didn't work!

I have a crazy friend...

Who decided she wanted to stand in this line....
All for a free one of these....

An hour and a half later (I showed up for the last 20 min), with sunburned skin and tired kids, we made it inside.
The verdict is still out on whether or not it was worth it =)

I think my life would be utterly boring without Sara as a friend =)

Having fun with Daddy!

Our trampoline has been by far our best purchase EVER! The kids love it and especially love when Tyler goes out there with them and bounces them super high.
Or in this case bounces with them on his shoulders.
