Christmas in the town.

We kept tradition alive this year and headed up to Wrightwood for their annual Christmas in the Town event.
This year we brought along the other set of grandparents, a cousin, and new friends, the Hardy Family (we missed the Blumes). We hope The Hardy's will return with us next year and we didn't scare them off. Our kids were so done by this time after such a busy week. There was a lot of meltdowns from the Jorgenson kids. Luckily this was visit 2 of 3 with Santa this year and we did get a better picture at one of the other visits. Chase and Ashlyn were just not having it....they wanted to get away from the man in the red suit and crazy beard.
Mrs. Claus was cute and super nice and didn't destroy the kids belief in Santa when she told us her Santa is the Victorville Santa and they were so happy to have been hired to come to Wrightwood....and here's a list of the other events we will be appearing at. Seriously, couldn't throw in talk about the North Pole?!
Despite meltdowns, freezing temps, and the miscommunciation to Vikki about the NEED for warm clothes, we made it until the parade. I love this girl. She is a so funny, so loyal, and a great friend.

Turkey Day #2

The Draper visit ended with Thanksgiving dinner. We had such a fun week and can't wait to see them again soon. We hope they had as much fun as we did and they decide sunny California is the perfect Thanksgiving destination for years to come (hint, hint).
XO Draper Fam!

Thanksgiving Week Day 3

While the boys attempted to sail with no wind,
the girls headed to Balboa for a fun and beautiful day.

The 2 boys that had to stay behind with the girls.
It won't be too long and they will be with the big boys (sigh).
Before shot: Before my girls, especially Ashlyn, got soaked.
Good excuse to buy her some cute Newport Sweats. We celebrated a very special birthday at Ruby's
and tried not to get attacked by the millions of hungry seagulls.
Taylor Loves this girl!

Thanksgiving Week Day 2

The moms of the family were able to sneak out for a girls day so off to the mall we went.
We returned home to this tired bunch (except for Chase, he was with us).And somewhat managed some group pictures....All in matching shirts. What a silly group!

Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving week is going to require multiple posts in order to get it all documented. The week was packed with lots of fun with family.

The Drapers were in town so 1st stop was Wrightwood to play in the snow at Grandma and Grandpa J's.
My pretty girl!Chase and Grandma stayed warm inside.
Grandpa J's driveway is the perfect sledding spot.
As long as there is an adult waiting at the bottom ready to catch you.
We were entertained with lots of little plays put on by the cousins. And the IPAD was the hot ticket item at Grandma's.More family fun to come....

Someone turned 6!

Birthdays are the best! As a kid you just can't wait until that special day. I think they start talking about their next birthday the day after their birthday. Or is that just my kids?! They are wishing for time to go faster and I am wishing for it to slow down.

My Taylor girl is now 6. We started her special day with a trip to the Doughnut store. We always have a million candles but were all out birthday morning...oops. So I made some makeshift candles and almost burned the house down.
Birthday night was spent celebrating and eating at Red Robin and Pinkberry with best friend in tow. They were hilarious in the restaurant trying to act very much grown up when ordering their chicken strips with a side salad. 2 days later it was Party Time. We had a tea party with lots of cute fun girls from church.
Sad part is many of the birthday pictures were deleted prior to being put onto the computer....so, so sad!
But luckily a few pictures survived the clearing of the memory card. Thanks goodness!
Taylor picked her own candles.
She was given so many great gifts.
A true tea party is just not complete without glitz and glam so the girls were able to dress up, get their hair and makeup done, nails painted, and make their own tea party hats, all in preparation to walk down the red carpet and strike a pose (red carpet pictures...gone =(
Taylor has so many great friends and I think it is safe to say she had 1 fabulous birthday! We love you Taylor Marie!
You are a great big sister.
You are so fun and adventurous!
We love to see you smile!
XO infinity plus 100!

More off track fun!

Yes, I am still blogging events from November. I WILL get caught up.
We continued our off tracks adventures with a visit to one of the kid's favorite places...
Pretend City.
They love it. I Love it.
And now Chase loves it!
I put Chase in the car and he immediately grabbed the steering wheel and started driving. Andy asks me everyday when we are going back.
I didn't get many pictures of the "big kids" because they ran off and did their own thing.
But the crutches were a favorite item of the day.
As was the Mexican food restaurant.
