25 weeks!

I am 25 weeks pregnant. I honestly can't believe it! Thankfully this pregnancy seems to be going by fast. I went to the doctor yesterday and whined about how I felt like I was huge for only 25 weeks. He assured me I am not and have not gained too much weight. I am actually right on track SO....if my brain could just accept that information maybe I wouldn't feel so fat. Maybe I should take a stroll down memory lane and look at my twin pregnancy pictures for a little perspective.

Things are going well. Last weekend, I was forced to rest for 2 days after activity overload. Those 2 days proved beneficial and this week has been better. Everyday I am more excited for this little man to join our family. We can't wait to love on him!

3 year tradition.

The last 3 years, we have spent New Year's Day at Balboa. It always proves to be a beautiful fun day. This year started with a broken camera and being pooped on twice by birds. I was almost ready to leave. Super glad we didn't and that we had our IPhones handy for pictures.

We tried something new this year and rented one of these.

And biked ourselves down to the wedge. We believe this little excursion might have caused some preterm labor issues. Maybe not such a great idea...24 weeks!
The tradition is only complete when we meet up with the Blume family. Next year there will be 2 8 month old boys added to this group. The girls are quickly being outnumbered. Luckily they are full of personality and will have no problem making their presence known. We celebrated Paige's birthday at Wilma's Patio.
Have Sara and I not trained these girls well on how to smile for pictures?!A little sugar overload before heading home.Once again another fabulous day on the So Cal Coast. We are looking forward to a great 2010:
Baby boy will arrive.
Tyler turns 30!
Jorgenson Properties soaring to new heights.
Tyler attends Graduate school. USC hopefully! Go Trojans!
And just a less stressful year than the one before! It is looking good from here!
Today I am grateful!

Santa Came.

And brought lots of Christmas joy.
This year we kept the gift giving pretty simple and every night leading up to Christmas we talked about the true meaning of the holiday. It was perfect!
All Taylor wanted was a bike and Littlest Pet Shop....so granted!
Christmas morning was spent at our house with Grandma and Grandpa J.
Tyler and Andy mastering the Wii which is now a nightly occurrence for my men. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa J. It's a hit at our house!
Taylor got a Madame Alexander doll with a matching outfit from G and G. She loved being able to match her doll.
Off to Grandma and Grandpa P's house for dinner and more presents. Taylor had been eyeing this cupcake maker for months.
Ashlyn loves her baby dolls.
And Andy got all things CARS.
Thanks Mom and Reid for a fun night!

Christmas Eve = sugar high.

We host Christmas Eve with my dad and siblings at our house. This year I decided to throw some gingerbread house making into the mix. It was really funny to watch my sister, brother, future sis in law, and dad attempt to help my kids create homes. It was very messy but super fun!
I helped Ashlyn with her house and I believe it was the only house standing. Haha!
But my brother decided it needed a little something extra.
Drum roll please.....The Masterpieces (?)

Present time.
Leaving treats for Santa.
We had such a great night but missed Trisha, Russ, and Cannon!
Until next year....

Christmas Outfit Drama!

Every year I scope out my favorite stores to find the perfect Christmas outfits...then I wait for them to go on sale. This year the crazy ebay ladies snatched up EVERYTHING the second they went on sale in the beginning of November. Then they posted them on ebay for way more than any person in their right mind should pay. I was a bit peeved. Fast forward to the week of Christmas and I still hadn't found anything I liked and my bitterness toward the ebay fanatics grew every time I walked into a store. At the last minute, I found something and I am actually happy with how it turned out. Phew! That was a close one. How can you not have matching Christmas attire, the concept doesn't sit well with me. Tyler thought I was crazy but he still drove to 2 different stores at night trying to find Andy's shirt which I told him was green pin striped, not green checkered. Oops!

So here is our attempt at pictures.... enjoy!

Pictures after church....I know better.
Always, ALWAYS take picture BEFORE an event, not after.
So let's try it at home. Wrestle and Say Cheese........ must sound the same.Is the horse really necessary?Almost.
Wait...........RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The secret weapon...look at the camera and wait for the flashing red light (timer). Woohoo! They thought it was funny.

Calorie Fest 2009!

I have officially named this Holiday Season as Calorie Fest of the decade!!! There were so many treats this year, I am super nervous to go to the doctor this week and be weighed!

However, we did have fun making and delivering treats to our friends and neighbors.
Hmmm, looks like their mouths are full of Rolos.

Whale Watching.

Christmas break has been so busy and so full of fun things! We started it out with an invitation from our friends to go whale watching. It was pretty exciting to be in the middle of hundreds of dolphins. They enjoyed swimming in the wake of the boat, it was pretty amazing. Thanks Mark and Crystal for the invite and tickets!
